Patrons ?

Would it be beneficial for us to have a Patron or Patrons

Taffy Thomas MBE has said that if we wish to use his name for support he is more than welcome. He is aware that the addition of  an MBE  to a name can often provide some added value.

Many organisations have a Patron or a number of Patrons – these are usually nominal positions in that they are generally seen as supporters rather than key players. Taffy could be one such person?

Are there others that we may wish to invite to be patrons of our Forum ?

Patrons

Taffy is quite right, sadly, about the influence of 'gongs' and we should, I think, accept his offer which will have meaning for those familiar with the storytelling world. For newcomers a patron would need to be someone they have heard of and who they associate with the spoken word in some form. Maybe Sir Ian Mckellan?...Patrick Stewart? JK Rowling? (just joking!).
