Dear BTB and Storytelling Supporters,
A string of BTB-related storytelling events takes place this March - across Wales!
Firstly, magical new story and music show SLEEPING BEAUTY and ALCESTIS, featuring music specially commissioned by BTB from Welsh jazz guitar wizard DYLAN FOWLER working with storyteller DANIEL MORDEN and fabulous fiddler OLI WILSON DICKSON, is at BTB’S spiritual home ST DONATS ARTS CENTRE on 11th March, before continuing to other venues across Wales. Then on March 14th there is BTB’s monthly SATURDAY LUNCH HOUR STORYTELLING at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, this month featuring award winning N Wales storyteller CATH ARAN.
And on St Patrick’s Night (17th March) David Ambrose and Guto Dafis host more stories and music in Milgi’s Yurt, Cardiff, this month featuring special guests MARYANNE ROBERTS and JOHN MORGAN.

Forget the panto kitsch – this Sleeping Beauty is a powerful tale of death and rebirth.
Telling Sleeping Beauty alongside the beautiful Greek myth of Alcestis, and underscoring the tales with heart-stopping live music, DANIEL MORDEN, OLI WILSON DICKSON and DYLAN FOWLER breathe new life into one of our most haunting stories – conjuring timeless images in the mind and stirring deep emotions in the heart.

The winner of the 2009 Arts Foundation Award for Storytelling, one of the largest ever awards for storytelling in the UK, makes her very first appearance at The Wales Millennium Centre.
This young Welsh storyteller moves seamlessly from Welsh to English and back again, her energetic storytelling style leading you on a magical journey to meet giants, witches and fairies, with a few tears and a bellyful of laughter along the way!
