Taffy Thomas is the artistic director of Tales in Trust, the Northern Centre for Storytelling, in
Grasmere, the Lake District.
In the 2001 he was awarded the MBE for services to storytelling and charity. With over 30 years'
experience entertaining audiences from carnivals, village halls and country house hotels to the Albert
